The Family of Zac White from Cortland is holding a benefit for White after having a stroke on his motorcycle. 

The event is being held at Farmer Jim's Sports Complex in Niles. The event is being held there to honor White's love of soccer. 

White is a graduate of Lakeview, where he was a goalie for the boy's soccer team. 

White sustained several life threating injuries after his incident, and was previously on life support and only recently has been taken off of it. 

The event runs from 1p.m. to 5p.m. Sunday, October 24 and will include a 50/50 raffle, concession trucks, games, t-shirts, wristbands and window clings. 

There will be a follow up event in honor of White on October 30 at Rochetti's Bar on Elm Rd. in Warren from 2p.m. to 6p.m.
