Person arrested on scene of firebombing incident in Youngstown identified
Brandon Stores was arrested at the scene of an incident involving Molotov cocktails being thrown into a Youngstown duplex on East Midlothian Boulevard that sent a woman and three children to the hospital.
Youngstown Police officers arrested Stores for two open warrants for fleeing an accident and a parole violation.
After being taken into custody, officers found 45 grams of cocaine on Stores after conducting a search.
Stores was booked on all warrants and possession of drugs.
It's unclear if Stores has been charged with arson or anything relating to the fire.
The mother and children, ages 8 years old, six years old, and 8 months old, were taken to Mercy Hospital for possible smoke inhalation after the fire broke out in their East Midlothian Boulevard apartment at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Investigators say the injuries were not life-threatening.
The Red Cross was called in to help the family.
