Coroner identifies woman found in burning Austintown apartment
Fire crews were called to Greenbriar Village on South Raccoon Road at around 1:00 a.m. Sunday to find heavy smoke inside the building.

The Mahoning County coroner's office has confirmed the identity of a woman who died in an apartment building fire in Austintown Sunday morning.
The victim was 74-year-old Dorothy Bankhead. She was pulled from the flames by fire crews and was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital where she later died.
Fire crews were called to Greenbriar Village on South Raccoon Road at around 1:00 a.m.
Once on scene, crews discovered heavy smoke inside the building.
Crews from Canfield were called in to assist Austintown in getting the fire under control. It's not clear how extensive the fire was but crews remained on scene for another several hours.
