A Youngstown man was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and attempted arson on Friday afternoon.

Qweon Drayton-Washington allegedly kicked open several acquaintance's home door on Boston Avenue in Youngstown and then began fighting with them while swinging a knife. Youngstown Police said a 47-year-old victim was cut on their head during the altercation while an additional victim was slapped in the face and another was scratched on the arm. 

Drayton-Washington then ran outside and approached one of the home's residents vehicle, shoved leaves in its gas tank and tried to light the vehicle on fire, according to a police report. An officer at the scene said they observed burnt leaves inside of the vehicle's gas spout.

Police claim that no knife was found after the incident.

The victims were treated at the scene but did not undergo any further examination.

Drayton-Washington was also booked with a capias for driving under suspension.
