After 40 years in the restaurant business in the Mahoning Valley, owner of Falcon Grille and Tavern and former owner of Inner Circle Pizza on Belmont Avenue, John Stefan has announced his retirement and the closure of Falcon Grille and Tavern.

According to a statement from Stefan, the restaurant will close Friday, Oct. 8 at 3:00 p.m. Stefan issued a statement on Falcon Grille and Tavern's website. The statement is as follows:

"After 40 years in the restaurant business, I'll be retiring. I would like to thank all the employees and customers who supported us all these years. It's all of you that I'm going to miss the most."
