Fire Marshal investigates Vienna house fire that sent 3 firefighters to ER

Firefighters from Vienna were joined by those from half a dozen other departments battling flames at a home that sent black smoke into the sky. Three firefighters went to the hospital.
Crews were called out to a garage fire on the 1600 block of Ridge Road just after 3 p.m. Tuesday and were on the scene for seven hours.
As flames spread from the garage to the home, part of the structure collapsed, blocking the path to the home’s second floor and attic.
Three firefighters were taken to an emergency room for evaluation. 21 News is attempting to contact the Vienna Fire Cheif to learn the condition of those firefighters.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was called to assist the homeowners.
The state fire marshal has been called to assist with the investigation.
