A Friday hearing in a Trumbull County courtroom could determine if the City of Girard can tear down a building.
A magistrate will hear arguments from Dan and Robert Penza, who are co-owners of the building at 25 West Liberty Street.
The men claim that although co-owner John Penza was notified back in March that county health officials declared the building unfit for habitation, Dan and Robert Penza say they were not notified.
The court has issued a temporary restraining order preventing the building's demolition until Friday's 9 a.m. hearing.
