Bail: $150K and $500K for suspects charged with attempted murder in Shenango Township
State Police have arrested two suspects in an attempted homicide that sent two New Castle men to the hospital.
Two New Castle residents, 26-year-old Cassie Marie Lutz and 55-year-old Michael Lane Caccia are in the Lawrence County Jail.
Police say the two are charged in connection with injuries caused to Vince Perrotta and Charles Trott, both 38, who were attacked with blunt objects and sharp weapons on the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Shenango Township just after noon Monday.
Trott was flown to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown in critical condition. Perrotta went to UPMC Jameson Hospital where he is listed as stable.
Both suspects are charged and have been arraigned on charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
Caccia's bond is set at $500,000 while Lutz is held on $150,000 bail.
Police have not released details about the motive for the attacks.
