A suspect in the double murder that occurred on the West Side of Youngstown on August, 24 has been arrested. 

U.S. Marshals arrested Jabrae Perry, in Columbus, Ohio around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31. 

Perry is connected to the double shooting that took place at 1213 Salt Springs Rd. that left 49 year old Ayanna Mills and her 28 year old son Brandon Bell dead. 

When police arrived, Mills was found dead and Bell was taken to the hospital where he later died. 

Investigators learned that Perry fled Youngstown and was hiding in Columbus and tracked Perry to a home in the 3000 block of Chelford Rd. 

Perry was booked into the Franklin County jail and is awaiting extradition back to Youngstown. 

Perry was arrested by the U.S. Marshals with no incident.
