A Hubbard man convicted of fatally stabbing his wife at a Coitsville motel has been sentenced to fifteen years to life in prison.

Mahoning County Judge Anthony D'Onofrio handed down the sentence on Monday to Francis Rydarowicz, who was found guilty of murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence.

In June of 2019, Rydarowicz was charged with the death of 41-year-old Katherine Rydarowicz who was stabbed in the back at the Kings Motel on Route 422.

At the time of his wife's death, Rydarowicz was wearing an electronic ankle monitor to monitor his whereabouts for a previous domestic violence conviction.
