Man connected to South Side murder sentenced
27-year-old Traeshaun Turner was found guilty on all counts including; murder, attempted murder, felonious assault and having weapons under disability.

A man connected to a murder on Youngstown's south side in September of 2020 has been sentenced to 22 years to life in prison.
27-year-old Traeshaun Turner was found guilty on all counts including; murder, attempted murder, felonious assault and having weapons under disability. He was sentenced Thursday afternoon.
The shooting occurred on Cleveland Street across from the Southern Tavern and killed 25-year-old Ishmael Bethel.
A 16-year-old female was also injured in the shooting.
Police said that Turner fled in a vehicle after the shooting.
