PennDOT to host job fairs throughout August
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will be holding several job fairs throughout August.
The events will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and encourages Pennsylvanians interested in a job with PennDOT to come and learn more about the job openings.
District employees will be at the events to answer any questions applicants may have and assist them with the application process.
Available positions include CDL operators, mechanics, highway maintenance workers, civil engineers, construction inspectors, and transportation technicians.
The events are open to people with disabilities. Those with disabilities who are interested should contact the PennDOT District 1 Office one week before the event they plan on attending.
The job fair will be held in Mercer County Maintenance Facility on Wednesday, Aug. 11, Erie County Maintenance Facility on Wednesday, Aug. 18, Venango County Maintenance Facility on Thursday, Aug. 19, Crawford County Maintenance Facility on Wednesday, Aug. 25, and Warren County Maintenance Facility on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Applicants should bring an updated copy of their resumes.
