YPD takes one into custody after large police presence

Police have taken someone into custody after they pulled a gun on another person.

This happened around 9 p.m. Saturday, in the 2400 block of Hudson Avenue, off of West Midlothian Boulevard.

A concerned 21 News viewer called to report several police cars in the area.

We spoke with Youngstown police, who say they took someone into custody when that person pulled a gun on someone else in the car.

Officers arrested the driver of the car, but the passenger ran into a nearby home and then couldn't be found. We're told no charges have been filed just yet.
