Portion of roof at Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley collapses after rain

Images of more damage after heavy rain over the weekend continue to come in.
The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley shared pictures after a portion of the roof caved in at their facility on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Youngstown. It happened Saturday in a room on the fourth floor in the women and families department.
John Muckridge, the CEO and president of the rescue mission, says they get leaks when it rains on their facility. They've been at the current building for more than 85 years.
Muckridge said someone was staying in the room, but they weren't there when the roof caved in. The room is now unusable, and they've moved the person to another room.
Muckridge adds they will be moving to their new facility just down the road in the fall.
