A place for Paws celebrate the opening of a new dog boutique
The Owners of a Place for Paws kicked off the opening of a new dog boutique called Dar's Dirty Dogs. It comes complete with a treat and chew bar, a doggie "barkery" and a wide variety of different toys and treats.
A place for Paws has another store called Paws on Main, located in Columbiana.
The "barkery" has various dog treats to custom dog cakes, cupcakes, and donuts. All healthy for dogs, of course.
They also have a grooming section and they offer different packages starting with a self-washing bay to having a certified bather.
The prices vary based on the dog's weight and they also have a bathing service that ranges from 20 dollars to 55 dollars depending on the type of hair. There are no reservations and walk-ins are welcome.
The treat bar comes with 17 different flavors and styles of treats and prices based on a fill-a-bag. The cost varies on the size of the bag, but they range from $7.99 to $12.99. The chew bar is a similar concept, but the price will depend on the type of bone you get.
A place for Paws also offers positive training dedicated to the development of regular pets and therapy dogs.
"We hope to extend our reach a little further in providing quality enrichment and life enhancement for dogs and their people. Learning what motivates a dog goes a long way to solving most issues that dogs and people have when to coexist," said Dani Edgerton, owner of Dar's Dirty Dogs.
The hours for Dar's are 10:30 am to 6 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
