Youngstown police respond to two shooting reports, at least two hurt
One shooting left two males hurt.
There were two reports of shootings less than 15 minutes apart in Youngstown.
The call for the first shooting came in around 9 p.m. Friday on Fairgreen Avenue near Belmont Avenue.
Police say two males were shot in front of a home. One victim had serious injuries, and the other victim's injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.
At least 20 shell casings were found in the street.
Less than 15 minutes later, a reported shooting was called out on Thornton Avenue near Kensington Avenue. Police cruisers and an ambulance were on the scene. It's unclear if anyone was hurt.
There has been no word on any suspects for either of the reported shootings.
Police do not believe the shootings are connected.
