A new pizza at Pizza Joe's will be available this Sunday courtesy of the Junior Achievement Innovation Challenge winners from Girard Intermediate School.

Dylan Sforza, Henry Durkin, Orion Strainer, and Santino Serrano from Ashley Fitch's class developed the winning flavor and pitch for the competition.

The students dubbed themselves the "Chicken Guys" and created a chicken quesadilla pizza concept which earned the highest marks by the judging panel.

Though the event could not take place in person this school year, each team submitted a video pitch to be presented to Pizza Joe's.

Pizza Joe's in Girard will host a community day with the Chicken Guys this Sunday, June 27 from noon to 2 p.m. to launch the chicken quesadilla pizza.

The pizza will be available for one week at the Girard location and a portion of each pizza sold will be donated to the Trumbull County Educational Service Center Scholarship Fund.
