Electronic waste collected Saturday at Canfield Fairgrounds

If you have electronic items that shouldn’t end up in a landfill, there’s an opportunity on Saturday to safely dispose of them.

The Mahoning County Green Team has scheduled a drive-through Household Electronic Waste Collection at the Canfield Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9 a.m. through 2 p.m.

To alleviate heavy traffic issues, the recycling event is for households only. No businesses are being permitted.

In addition, participants are being asked to observe the following collection times:

If your last name begins with...

• A-F 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
• G-N 10:30 AM -12:00 PM
• O-Z 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

The following items will be accepted:

• Cell Phones
• Copiers
• Cordless Phones
• Computer Accessories
• *CRT Monitors
• *CRT Televisions
• Desktop Computers
• DVD/VCR Players
• Fax Machines
• *Flat Panel Monitors
• Laptop Computers
• *LCD/LED Televisions
• Microwaves
• Misc Electronics
• Network Equipment
• *Plasma Televisions
• Printers/Scanners
• Servers
• Stereos
• Tablets

While any of the above electronic waste will be accepted free of charge, all monitors and televisions will have a $20 processing fee.*

Floor model copiers will not be accepted.
