Mercy College of Ohio will close its nursing program in Youngstown in 2023.

An email to students from President Susan Wajert says Mercy College will close its Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Program at the Youngstown location effective December 31, 2023.

The last group of students for the program will be the day and evening classes of Fall 2021.

21 News has reached out to representatives with both the college and Mercy Health Youngstown but haven't heard back as of this writing.
