After canceling all 2020 events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WaterFire Sharon is set to return in September.

The event will take place in downtown Sharon on September 18.

Organizers say they are optimistic about the event, promising a day of entertainment, arts, and fun while embracing health orders to keep everyone involved safe.

The WaterFire event features art, live entertainment and entertainment, and the fire displays on the Shenango River.

Entertainment already booked for WaterFire includes "Evil Ways", a Santana tribute band, and regional favorite "Hern Brothers."

"It's going to be a great day," said Chip Mastrian, Co-Chair of WaterFire Sharon. "People are ready to come back and socialize, to move around freely again and enjoy good food, great entertainment, and inspiring art."
