Canfield Fair-goers should expect some exciting news in the coming weeks about this year's entertainment.

The fair's director, George Roman, tells 21 News there will be live entertainment at this year's fair following Governor Dewine's lifting of COVID-19 restrictions in the coming weeks.

Also returning this year are the fair's popular demolition derby and tractor pull events.

"WE'VE BEEN IN NEGOTIATIONS AND CONVERSATIONS WITH EVERYBODY RIGHT ALONG. JUST AS AN ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THEM TO MAKE SURE WE'RE ALL IN PLACE, SO NOW THAT WE CAN FINALIZE EVERYTHING IT SHOULDN'T TAKE VERY LONG." said Roman.

An announcement as to who will be headlining the grand stage is expected in the coming weeks.
