Warren man arrested after shots fired into neighbor's home
A Warren man is in the county jail following a police investigation into shots being fired into a home on Milton Street SE in Warren.
Officers from Howland Township were also called out Tuesday night and Milton Street was blocked off while police investigated.
Police searched a home on the 2100 block of Milton after the outside of a neighboring home had been shot up.
Investigators found spent shell casings in a bathroom and on the porch. Detectives confiscated a loaded .40 caliber Glock handgun found in the basement and a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson with a loaded extended magazine that was in a kitchen cabinet.
Malachi Jones, 20, was booked into jail on charges of felonious assault and discharging firearms.
Police say a second man, 42-year-old Mario Patterson, was yelling at a crowd outside one of the homes. Patterson was arrested at the scene on charges of misconduct during an emergency and disorderly conduct.
No one was injured by the gunfire.
