Drivers who use Mahoning Avenue in Austintown may experience some delays during four months of construction work beginning about three weeks from now.

The Mahoning County Engineer's Office has announced that work is scheduled to begin on May 24 to resurface more than 5 miles of the highway from the Meander Reservoir to Meridian Road.

Lindy Paving will also repair pavement and install new curb ramps.

During the project, which is expected to last until September, drivers will see lane restrictions.  However, traffic will be maintained in both directions.
