A Youngstown man has plead guilty to charges stemming from the death of a 19-year-old on the city's west side.

A Youngstown man has plead guilty to charges stemming from the death of a 19-year-old on the city's west side.
Zion Gilmore, 21, plead guilty Wednesday to charges including involuntary manslaughter and aggravated burglary after the shooting incident back on September 15, 2020.
The Mahoning County Coroner said the body of Theaplus Redmond, Jr. was found as police investigated the shooting that took place inside a home at the corner of Tyrell Avenue and Salt Springs Road around 1 a.m.
Investigators said there were several children inside the home, but none were injured.
Gilmore is expected to be sentenced on Monday, May third.
