Former Youngstown State basketball guard Darius Quisenberry has found a new home in New York City. Quisenberry, who entered the NCAA transfer portal in March, is committed to Fordham University according to his social media activity.

Quisenberry took to Twitter saying in part, "I am 100% committed to Fordham University. I appreciate everybody who supported me through this long process."

The Springfield, Ohio native appeared in 15 games for the Penguins last season, averaging 14.9 points and 3.1 steals per game.

Quisenberry played for the Youngstown State program from 2018/2019 - 2020/2021. He was named to the All-Horizon League second team in 2018-2019 and was named to the All-Horizon League first team in 2019-2020.

The Fordham basketball team, a Division I program belonging to the Atlantic 10 league, went 2-12 overall last season with a number of games cancelled, under head coach Kyle Neptune.

When Quisenberry announced his entering to the NCAA portal, he thanked Penguins head coach Jerrod Calhoun and the program saying, "I will always have love for Youngstown and the times I had will forever be remembered and bonds and brothers that I will have for a life time."
