Vienna traffic stop turns into high-speed police chase
Dispatchers say the driver ended up taking off and ending up on the highway going the wrong way.

A suspect is in custody Thursday night after around a 30-minute chase that involving multiple police agencies.
Trumbull County Dispatch says the pursuit started as a traffic stop along Youngstown-Kingsville Road near Yankee Kitchen in Vienna around 8 p.m.
Dispatchers say the driver ended up taking off and ending up on the highway going the wrong way.
Police set up spikes as speeds reached almost 60 miles per hour, according to initial reports.
The suspect eventually got off the highway in Cortland where troopers tried to do a pit maneuver on the vehicle.
The suspect ended up in a yard around 8:30 p.m just north of the police station.
There, police were able to take the driver into custody without incident.
