A man was seriously hurt after a vehicle struck him while he was trying to remove a tree from the road in Fowler Township.
The accident happened Friday around 6:45 a.m. on Bradley Brownlee Road, east of Route 5.
Troopers say 30-year-old Bradley Rowyak of Cortland was driving along Bradley Brownlee Road when he saw a tree had fallen across the road. Rowyak got out of his vehicle to remove the tree, which is when another car hit him.
Rowyak was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The man in the other car was not hurt.
Troopers say impairment is not a factor in this crash. The crash remains under investigation.
