Two more suspects are now facing murder charges after the death of 4-year-old Rowan Sweeney in Struthers.

A Mahoning County Grand Jury indicted 18-year-old Brandon Lee Crump Jr. and 21-year-old Andre Stephon McCoy on Thursday.

Crump and McCoy face four counts of aggravated murder, three counts of attempted murder, three counts of felonious assault, one count of aggravated burglary, one count of aggravated robbery and one count of conspiracy. Crump is also indicted on charges of escape and robbery.

As 21 News has previously reported, 24-year-old Kimonie Bryant was originally charged for Sweeney's murder. Officials say Bryant allegedly shot and killed Sweeney and hurt four others on Sept. 21 at a home on Perry Street. McCoy was one of the four others shot that day.

Officials were not able to provide more details Thursday about Crump and McCoy's alleged roles.

During an October news conference, Mahoning County Prosecutor Paul Gains said the investigation revealed it was well known that Yarnell Green Jr. -- who was one of the other adults shot that day -- was self-employed and had recently received a check for several thousand dollars. Around $5,000 from the check remained on the coffee table at the time. Gains said Bryant fled the scene, and when police arrived, no cash was on the coffee table.

Back in September, Struthers Law Director John Zomoida Jr. told 21 News he believed Bryant had a connection with Green and McCoy. Zomoida said McCoy's cellphone allegedly had text messages from Bryant's cellphone prior to the shooting.

As part of Thursday's new indictments, Lashawn Annie Scott, 43, and Odyessie Odessa Butler-Reed, 19, were charged with tampering with evidence. Officials were not able to elaborate on their alleged roles either.
