Youngstown State women's basketball player and Horizon League Freshman of Year Nneka Obiazor has entered the NCAA transfer portal, per her personal Twitter account.
In the Tweet below, Obiazor thanked Youngstown State athletics, adding she was able to grow significantly with the program. Obiazor is the latest women's basketball player in the last four days to leave the program after seniors Mary Dunn and McKenah Peters entered the portal last Friday, along with red-shirt sophomore Taylor Petit on the same day.
Sources close to the program tell 21 Sports sophomore guard Maddie Schires is also no longer with the team.
The Penguins finished the season 10-8, and fell to Milwaukee in the Horizon League Tournament Quarterfinals.
