Third time a charm for ATM theft suspects at Warren BP

Detectives are hoping video surveillance will lead them to whoever ripped an automatic teller machine out of a Warren gas station.
A crew picking up trash at the BP across from Trumbull Regional Medical Center told police that the gas station’s front door had been broken.
Police say the ATM machine had been ripped out from the gas station’s floor and then dragged out by a large truck or SUV.
Officers found a piece of plastic bumper near the building and followed rust debris from the vehicle along East Market Street.
Surveillance video shows a man with a crowbar jumping out of a Chevy Suburban, then smashing the glass door just before 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The man then put a strap around the ATM and drives off after the strap breaks.
The Suburban returned in about 25 minutes and tied a rope around the ATM. This time the bumper broke off the vehicle as it drove away.
The suspects returned for a third time, just after 4:30, and lifted the ATM into the Suburban before driving off.
The Suburban is described as a silver in color with a white hood. The suspects are described as black males, both with a thin build.
