Warren native, voice of Purdue Men's Basketball passes away

A longtime sportscaster with local ties has passed away.
Larry Clisby died Saturday in Florida after a lengthy battle with cancer less than a week removed from his 74th birthday.
Clisby was the voice of Purdue college basketball for more than 40 years.
According to our NBC affiliate WTHR in Indianapolis, Clisby retired before the 2020-2021 season after taking on lesser roles over the previous two seasons while he battled cancer.
He broadcast nearly 1,200 Boilermaker games in his career and was awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash in 2020 by Governor Eric Holcomb.
