Relatives are mourning the loss of a Columbiana County teen who died in a traffic accident.

The coroner has not officially released the identity of the fifteen-year-old girl. However, family members tell 21 News that it was Angie Perkins who died late Thursday.

Troopers say that neither 18-year-old Corey Evans, nor his 15-year-old female passenger was wearing seat belts about 6:30 p.m. Thursday night when the Chevy Cavalier being driven by Evans struck went off State Route 154 just west of Negley, striking a guardrail, a ditch, an embankment, and utility pole before overturning.

Evans suffered minor injuries according to troopers.  Perkins was thrown from the car and died.
