Road blocked off as crews battle Niles house fire

Emergency Crews blocked off Washington Avenue in Niles Sunday evening after a house fire broke out.

The fire happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 40 block of Washington Avenue.

Officials say the fire started in the attic and may have been an electrical failure.

Everyone inside was able to get out, and no one was hurt.

The Red Cross has been called in to help the family.
