Man shot: Warren police find drugs, cash in SUV
Police say they found drugs and cash inside the SUV that they believe carried a gunshot victim to a hospital late Thursday.
Thirty-year-old Raymond Harrison was being treated for a gunshot wound to the throat at the HMHP Community Care Center when police found a Toyota RAV4 parked outside the emergency room entrance.
An officer reported finding a baggie of suspected heroin, a digital scale, and cash in the SUV.
Harrison was transferred to Trumbull Regional Medical Center for treatment of what is described as a major injury. Police have not provided an update on the victim’s condition or more about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police then went to the alleged shooting scene on the 200 block of Belmont Street NW to investigate.
Initial reports said officers found at least one shell casing in front of a home.
