PA State Senator David Arnold passes away from brain cancer

A Pennsylvania State Senator has passed away following a battle with cancer.
According to the release, Senator David J. Arnold, Jr. died Sunday at his home with family by his side after a battle with brain cancer at the age of 49.
Arnold represented the state's 48th district that included Lebanon, Dauphin and York counties since January 2020.
Pennsylvania lawmakers Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) and Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) released this statement, mourning the passing of Arnold.
"On behalf of the entire Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus, we send our condolences to Sen. Arnold's family, friends, and colleagues in the Pennsylvania Senate. Throughout his career in public service, Sen. Arnold showed a relentless commitment to justice and advancing the betterment of Pennsylvanians. His voice in the pursuit of what is right will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sen. Arnold's wife, Alicia, and his daughter, Reese, during this incredibly difficult time."
