Three injured in Route 45 crash near Salem
State troopers say a Ford Escape failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, colliding with a Jeep.

Two rescue squads and a helicopter were called out to a traffic accident that shut down a highway outside Salem early Wednesday.
A two-vehicle crash was reported shortly before 5 a.m. along Route 45 near Georgetown Road.
State troopers say a Ford Escape failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, colliding with a Jeep.
A driver of the Escape was flown to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown with serious injuries. His passenger was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital.
A woman driving the Jeep was taken to UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.
The accident is still under investigation.
