How to recycle live Christmas trees in the Valley
There are several areas where you can take your Christmas tree and one company is willing to come to pick up your Christmas tree for free.
The details of the pickup are as followed.
Trumbull and Mahoning Counties:
Express Junk Removal's 1st Annual Christmas Tree Pickup event.
Express Junk Removal is a locally-owned junk removal company offering free Christmas tree pickup to residents of Trumbull and Mahoning counties.
The pickup rules are:
- Trees must be bare (no ornaments, lights, garland, tinsel, etc)
- No artificial or flocked trees, no wreaths
- Trees must be left curbside
The dates to have your Christmas tree picked up are January 6th (Wednesday) and 7th (Thursday).
To have your tree picked up, you much schedule an appointment by calling 234-600-3317.

Warren:
Live Christmas trees can be disposed of at Bob's Tree Service, 1052 N. River Rd, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- All decorations, including tinsel, garland, popcorn, etc., must be removed.
- Trees will be accepted until Friday, January 29th, 2021.
- Live trees will NOT be picked-up curbside.
Salem:
Trees can be recycled at Waterworth Memorial Park at the marked location near the dog park through January.
