Customers to receive free jewelry from Komara Jewelers' snowfall promotion

Some may call it a deal of a lifetime.
Komara Jewelers in Canfield continue their snowfall promotion every December. The rules are simple. If it snows four inches on Christmas Day, any jewelry purchased between November 30 and December 17 is free.
"It's all about Christmas Day," said Brianna Komara-Pridon. "We have to have four inches of newly fallen snow accumulation today. So 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m."
"For it being Christmas and the year that it is, just giving back to everybody would be a blessing," said Rob Komara.
21 News was with the Komara's at the Youngstown Warren Regional Airport Friday evening where they anxiously kept measuring if their snowfall promotion will finally happen after over a decade of not enough snow. In the year that will be known for the COVID-19 era, the family says they hope to give back to the nearly 500 customers who qualify for the promotion.
"We've been through a lot this year," Bob Komara said. "Nobody has ever experienced this or expected it and anything good that happens is just so positive."
This year, it's safe to say many customers wishes will come true. As of 10 p.m., the National Weather Service and the 21 Storm Tracker Weather team state the Mahoning Valley did get over four inches on Christmas Day.
"It has never really been a white Christmas and this is amazing," said Rob Komara.
The Komara's will start calling those lucky customers in a few weeks once the official snowfall is verified and made official.
