Significant snowfall is expected on Christmas and that could mean free jewelry for about 500 Komara Jewelers customers.

The Canfield jewelry store is continuing to host its annual Snowfall Promotion this year. Basically, if it snows four inches or more on Christmas Day, any jewelry purchase made between Nov. 30 and Dec. 17 is free. For the deal to be official, the Weather Watch Service at the Youngstown Warren Regional Airport will have to record snowfall of four or more inches between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 25.

"Everybody needs some cheer in their life this year. 2020 has been super stressful and very odd, and I think it would be perfect. It would fit just great," said Rob Komara, vice president of Komara Jewelers.

The local jewelry store has done the promotion for more than a decade, and it's never happened before. But the possibility has Bob Komara so excited that he plans to come out of retirement with a new commercial.

"I'm going to dress up like Santa Claus and have a big bag of hundred dollar bills and throw it in the air and say it's free," said Bob, the retired owner of Komara Jewelers.

If it does snow four inches or more on Christmas Day, contact Komara Jewelers before March 27, 2021 to receive your refund.
