Five suspects arrested in New Castle drug bust
Tuesday night detectives and officers from the District Attorney's Special Investigations Unit, New Castle City Narcotics, Union Township, Neshannock Township, Pulaski Township and New Castle City CIRT simultaneously executed search warrants at 760 Lathrope Street and 419 E. Reynolds Street.
The two houses were suspected of being used to process and distribute narcotics.
At the Lathrope residence detectives discovered 45 grams of suspected Heroin, 113.1 grams of suspected crack, 10.5 grams of suspected cocaine, cutting agents for the production of drug packages, 9 cellular phones, 3 digital scales and $2,737 in U.S. currency.
Discovered at the Reynolds residence were a loaded 9mm Taurus handgun, 3.6 grams of suspected heroin, 12 Suboxone strips and 2 additional digital scales.
Denzel Dorsey, Davahn Brown, Khamray Bonner, Deshawn Coleman and James Jones were arrested and charged with 3 counts of possession with intent to deliver, 3 counts of possession and 1 count of paraphernalia.
The following individuals were lodged in the Lawrence County Jail.
