After reporting nearly 9,000 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, Ohio reported a little less on Saturday.

The state reported 7,863 cases in the last 24 hours but indicated that Saturday's data is incomplete with thousands of reports pending review. There were 29 more deaths.

Hospitalizations were up by 260 and ICU admissions were up by 34. Those numbers are above the three week average for both.

Locally, Trumbull County reported no new deaths but 109 new cases, according to local health officials. 

According to the state health department, Mahoning County has 6,643 cases and 299 deaths in total. Columbiana County has 3,240 cases and 95 deaths in total.
