Fire departments from several Columbiana County communities were called to battle flames in a remote area of Rogers early Monday.

The first call came in at around 4:30 a.m. to Riffle Road, just east of State Route 7.

A Sheriff's Deputy who arrived first reported that the fire involved several structures and several vehicles.

21 News has learned that the fire was in a garage and a large supply of firewood.

By 6 am, the fire was mostly extinguished, but pumpers were still hauling water from nearby ponds.

There are no reports of injuries. A horse that was near the fire escaped injury.
