"Team Legend's" Julia Cooper was surprised with a send-off Sunday of support by family, friends and the Mayor of Poland Village.

Mayor Tim Sicafuse said, "The village has 2,500 people roughly, so one of the people from our little town is on a national show, that hardly ever happens. We are supporting her 100 percent. We hope she goes all the way."

Julia's sisters, mom and dad were excited to watch chairs turn so quickly on the voice.

Her dad tells us she's worked for this a long time.

"That gazebo right over there is where she was 7 years old and she won a contest there, and she's been pursuing this dream ever since. Seeing her on stage was surreal," said David Cooper.

Julia is attending Middle Tennessee State University for commercial songwriting and is pursuing her dream on "The Voice."

"To actually be there and be on that stage we've seen so many times on TV was absolutely incredible. I am glad to get their feedback," said Julia.

Best friends say Julia blossomed over the years at talent competitions, plays, and theater. They watched and rewatched Julia's performance on the voice.

Carlie Latttanzio said, "I've been listening to her singe since she was five. We were screaming. My mom was crying. Everyone was crying. It was awesome."

Her relatives, friends and fans asking everyone from the region and Ohio to get behind Julia and show their support.

Julia's cousins Joseph and Nate Alessi added, "This is huge for the area everybody watch "The Voice" and show their support for Julia. Team Julia!"

Poland Village police and fire escorted her family to the highway as they drove Julia to the Pittsburgh Airport, headed to Los Angeles.
