For the fourth time this week, Ohio has reported over 2,000 new cases of COVID-19 in the state and Saturday health officials recorded a record number of new daily cases.

The Ohio Department of Health is reporting 2,234 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday with totals in the state reaching 180,225.

The state has 17,009 hospitalizations, with 99 new admissions since Friday.

ICU admissions are also up 17 from Friday totaling 3,539.

 The state is also reporting13 new deaths. The virus-related death total is now at 5,067 deaths.
 

Mahoning County, which is currently under a red level health advisory, is reporting 3,544 total cases along with 283 total deaths and 538 hospitalizations.

Trumbull County has 2,156 cases along with 134 total deaths and 366 hospitalizations.

 

Columbiana County is reporting 2,071 total cases with 87 total deaths and 232 hospitalizations.
