A recall has been issued involving pre-cut packaged fruit sold at Walmart stores in nine states.

Country Fresh brand fruit sold at retailers including Walmart is being voluntarily recalled due to a risk of Listeria contamination.

The Country Fresh packages include pre-cut apples, grapes, mangos, pineapples, and cantaloupe distributed in Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

They have the best-by dates of October 3 to 11.

No one has been reported sick, but the FDA discovered Listeria on equipment near where the products are packaged.

Symptoms of Listeria include high fever, headache, and abdominal pain.

If you purchased the fruit you can return to the retailer for a full refund.
