Austintown Fitch High School has announced its game plan for sporting event ticket sales as well as other policies keeping in line with state guidelines for the resumption of school athletics amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Falcons football home opener against the Boardman Spartans is scheduled to kick off next Friday, August 28, 2020. It will also be Senior Night.

There will be no ticket sales at the gates. All tickets will be pre-sold to the student-athletes before the game.

Starting Monday, August 24, 2020, all high school and middle school home events will be through pre-sale only.

Coaches will receive a ticket request sheet for parents and important guests to order tickets. Tickets will be distributed the day before or the day of the game.

Visiting teams can also sell tickets in advance to their parents. Seniors may buy up to 6 tickets while all underclassmen from 7th grade to 11th grade can purchase four tickets each.

The school district is working with other schools for the advance purchase of tickets for away games.

Inside the stadium, there will be restrictions to protect athletes, spectators, and event staff.

Everyone is required to wear a mask. The entire south end of the stadium will be gated off from the baseball field, the shot-put rink on the west side of the stadium. No one will be permitted to stand in any of the areas where either team enters.

The Austintown Marching Band will be using the far south end of the home stands so that they can adequately practice social distancing.

The parking plan has been modified as follows:

South Circle Entrance - Front of Fitch - Visiting Fans Entrance Only

North Circle Entrance - Back of Fitch - Home Fans Entrance Only

AMS Back Entrance - Home Fans Entrance Only

North Handicap Lot - Handicap Home & Visitor Parking
