People will be able to watch online after work begins next week on replacing the sign on the Home Savings clock tower in Downtown Youngstown.

Crews are expected to take from Tuesday, July 14 through Wednesday, July 14 as they install the logos of the new Premier Bank on the iconic building whose silhouette has become emblematic for Youngstown.

Time-lapse videos of the construction will be made available online at YourPremierBank.com/TowerProject and the bank’s social media platforms.

The five-and-a-half foot letters that spell Home Savings on the front and back of the tower will be replaced by a blue Premier icon and Premier wordmark. On the sides, there will be the Premier icon. The entire display will be illuminated at night.

The Premier Bank icon, which is a “P” monogram resembles a map location pin.
