The go-kart tracks are quiet, there are no cracks of the bats in the cages, and no one is celebrating a hole in one at Sports World in Boardman.

"This is our 25th anniversary, we've never seen anything like this," says owner Joe Corroto. But he and his staff are confident Tuesday will be a welcome change.

"I'm happy for my kids and my crew, I employ a lot of college students," he said. "The process has been to try and keep the grounds up and take care of everything."

Sports World is one of several types of businesses that will get the green light to reopen, in addition to bowling alleys, gyms and fitness centers, and swimming pools.

All, of course, if they can meet safety protocols.

"I've spent about $500 on sanitizers and cleaning equipment, we're going to sanitize the golf clubs and balls as they use them," Corroto said. "You're only allowed five in a group to begin with and normally we're back to back lined up, but we're going to make sure they keep space."

Also among the businesses set to get back up and running Tuesday - Ohio BMV locations.
Since Governor DeWine lifted Ohio's stay at home order last Tuesday, there are still 83 days left to get your license or registration up to date.

Meanwhile, Joe Corroto is hoping to see plenty of cars in his lot to salvage a successful unofficial start to the summer season.

"We've been getting a lot of calls...I don't think we're going to jump right back in and be slammed off the bat, but I hope people will get more confidence in being safer."
