Youngstown State University can be on the list of schools to resume classes on campus this fall.

Jess Briganti had a one-on-one with YSU President Jim Tressel on what the YSU campus will look like come fall.

"WE HAVE EVERY INTENTION OF BEING IN FALL, FACE TO FACE, IT'LL PROBABLY BE HYBRID-WE WON'T HAVE AS MANY PEOPLE IN A CLASSROOM, SOCIAL DISTANCING, THE DENSITY OF A CLASSROOM MIGHT BE AT A THIRD. PEOPLE MIGHT ROTATE IN, WE HAVE TO BE COGNICATE OF OUR FACULTY TOO, YOUNG PEOPLE THEY SAY YOU KNOW AREN'T AS AFFECTED-WE DON'T KNOW THAT FOR SURE, US OLDER PEOPLE WE'RE VULNERABLE SO SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO ME CAREFUL WITH OUR FACULTY. BUT WE WILL HAVE THE PLAN IN PLACE AS LONG AS WE'RE ALLOWED TO BE BACK, WE'LL BE BACK."

Unfortunately, that doesn't mean they can come back without cuts. President Tressel addressed that as well.

"OUR PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WORKING HARD WITH THE BARGAINING UNITS TO TALK ABOUT CAN WE GET CREATIVE? SEE IF WE CAN SHARE SOME PAIN? WILL WE BE ABLE TO DO THAT? IT'S DIFFICULT TO TELL. RESTRUCTURING SOME THINGS, RIGHT NOW WE KNOW WE'RE GOING TO NEED TO CUT INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS, WE KNOW WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO FILL A LOT OF VACANCIES THAT WE WERE HOPING TO INVEST IN AND SO ON AND SO FORTH. WE KNOW WE'RE PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE SOME PEOPLE EITHER FURLOUGHED OR LAID OFF, IT'S JUST A DIFFICULT TIME."

If you're wondering, about YSU sports, President Tressel says they're working very hard not to cut any sports but will have to cut some things within the department to save money.
