Andrew Yang endorses Tim Ryan for reelection to Congress

Former presidential candidate Andrew Yang has endorsed Tim Ryan for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives.
"Tim is fighting everyday for Americans and the Emergency Money for the People Act. Any member of Congress who doesn't support getting money into the hands of people is out of touch," Yang said.
Ryan and U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., co-sponsored the Emergency Money for the People Act that would give $2,000 a month to any American 16 or older earning up to $130,000, and $4,000 a month for married couples earning up to $260,000. Families would also receive up to $500 per child up to three children.
"I'm grateful to Andrew Yang for his endorsement. Yang has energized an entire generation and infused our public discourse with innovative ideas that we must pursue to put working people and working families first in America. This is not only a humane approach to rebuilding our society, but the smart path to strengthening and broadening the bedrock of our country, our middle class. I'm looking forward to working with Andrew Yang as a thought partner to put our country back on track during and after this pandemic," Ryan said.
Ryan's Republican opponent for Ohio's 13th District is Christina Hagan.
